We are given a lot of freedom to use our creativity in order to increase our kid’s success towards meeting their goals. Working in a pediatric speech therapy clinic is rewarding because it sits right at the intersection of human connection, independence and confidence when you’re assisting with client needs and communication development. We have a strong, effective collaborative setting that helps to meet client’s needs and provides comfort for the client. Witnessing a child’s progress firsthand and receiving positive feedback from families reinforces the impact and value of the work.

It’s such a joy to watch kids grow in their communication abilities and connect with families on a weekly basis; hearing from caregivers is an invaluable part of individualized treatment.

My 2 year old has been coming here for over a month to get help with his practically non-existent speech. His speech therapist is so nice, he loves her and throws his arms around her when she comes to the front to get him for the appointment. She updates us at the end of the appointment about how he’s doing and his talking has improved so much!
