Wee Speak Therapy & Learning Center is seeking a compassionate and skilled Pediatric Physical Therapist Assistant to join our multidisciplinary team in Lafayette, IN.
The Pediatric Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) at WeeSpeak will support the Physical Therapist in providing therapeutic services to children with physical impairments and disabilities. The PTA will assist in implementing treatment plans, documenting progress, and ensuring a positive and effective therapeutic environment.

Education: associate degree
Qualifications:
- Associate degree from an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant program
- Valid Indiana State License or certification as a Physical Therapist Assistant

Responsibilities:
Therapy Implementation
- Assist the Physical Therapist in delivering therapy sessions aligned with established treatment plans.
- Conduct individual or small-group therapy activities under PT supervision.
- Use play-based and interactive techniques to engage children during sessions.
- Record accurate and detailed notes on therapy sessions, progress, and behavioral observations.
- Maintain organized and up-to-date records in accordance with clinic and PT requirements.
- Promptly report significant observations or concerns to the supervising PT.
- Communicate session activities and basic home-support strategies to families and caregivers.
- Prepare and distribute materials and resources for home use.
- Assist in developing home programs and exercises as directed by the PT.
- Prepare and organize therapy materials and equipment.
- Participate in team meetings and contribute to treatment plan discussions.
- Provide general assistance to the PT and team to support smooth clinic operations.
