Wee Speak Therapy & Learning Center is seeking a compassionate and skilled Pediatric Physical Therapist to join our multidisciplinary team in Lafayette, IN.

The Pediatric Physical Therapist (PT) will assess, plan, and implement individualized physical therapy programs for children with a variety of physical conditions and disabilities. The PT will work collaboratively with families and a multidisciplinary team to promote optimal physical development and improve the quality of life for each child to their highest level of independence.

Qualifications:

  • Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) degree from an accredited institution
  • Valid Indiana State License in Physical Therapy

  • Use standardized assessment tools and clinical observations to determine therapy needs.
Therapeutic Intervention
  • Implement evidence-based therapeutic techniques to improve strength, mobility, and physical function.
  • Monitor and document progress toward therapy goals and adjust interventions as needed.
  • Incorporate play-based and age-appropriate activities to engage children during sessions.
Family and Caregiver Education
  • Provide training and resources to families and caregivers to support therapy goals at home.
  • Communicate regularly about patient progress and strategies for continued improvement.
  • Develop and share educational materials that reinforce therapy techniques.
Collaboration and Teamwork
  • Collaborate with occupational therapists, speech therapists, pediatricians, and other healthcare professionals to deliver comprehensive care.
  • Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings to review progress and treatment plans.
  • Share expertise and guidance on physical therapy and developmental milestones with colleagues.
